Module Description:

In this module, you will learn about curriculum development processes. Curriculum development is a crucial process to ensure students will have the desired educational outcomes that align with societal and practice needs when they graduate.  We will present the curriculum organisation cycle using SPICES model. This will be followed by an introduction to the outcome-based curriculum, and Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs).

At the end of this module, you will be able to:

1. describe the process of curriculum development

2. discuss strengths, limitations and opportunities of different curricula models

3. apply the models of curriculum development in your own setting
