Mentoring is one of the strongest modalities that could be used to support the learner to achieve his or her true potential. As such mentoring could go much beyond helping the learner only achieving the stated learning outcomes of a study programme.

At the end of this module, the learner should be able to:

    2. recognize the importance of mentorship

    3. describe the roles of the mentor

    4. explain the mentoring models

   5. select with justification the best mentoring model and the mentoring roles or a given situation
